Consistency Killer…Are You Making This Mistake?... with Michael Breed
In order to achieve a consistent ball flight, you have to control the club face. What controls the club face you may ask? Your hands! If you’re losing the connection of the grip during your swing, you are seriously hurting your chances at consistency. In this video, Michael Breed takes a look at two viewer swings, and shows you the mistakes, and the best way to fix them. You’ll learn how to solve a long swing, over the top swing, failure to maintain spine angle, and lower body rotation. Of course, he’ll also show the best drill to keep your hands on the club during the swing.

If you Struggle with Aim…Try This Method... with Michael Breed

You can make the perfect golf swing with perfect contact and perfect distance and still hit it in the bunker. The problem is when you do this, you think you didn’t make the perfect swing. You’re forgetting about one thing: Aim. Aim in the game of golf is a challenge for two reasons. One, you stand on the side of the golf ball. Two, the target is far away. In this video, Michael Breed will show ...
Extend Your Arms in the Follow Through... with Michael Breed
Просмотров 2,2 тыс.19 часов назад
So many recreational golfers create “alligator arms” in the follow through of the golf swing. If you are one, you certainly want to learn how to extend your arms after impact. What happens after impact isn’t necessarily important since the ball is already gone, but it does give us an indication of some issues before you’ve made contact. In this video, Michael Breed will show you why you struggl...
Add More Control with Flighted Iron Shots... with Michael Breed
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.День назад
When you’re playing in the wind, or hitting into very narrow corridors, one of the best things you can do is flight the ball down. The lower the shot, the less time it has to get off-line while it's in the air. However, if you start the ball off line, this backfires because it also has less time to get back on-line. So this shot will give you more control only when you can start it on-line. In ...

Do these instructors think the average guy can just look at a different place and instantly things get better? Where else would we look when there is a ball in front of us and are programmed to hit it? Why not hit at 4 o’clock using your number or brand name? But I say it’s food for thought.

Where I look is where my low point is. For all of my irons I look at the front of the ball so that I hit the small ball first. With a tee ball (3 or 5 wood) I look at the back of the ball because I want the low point behind the ball. With the driver being on a higher peg, I may look behind the ball to ensure catching it 6°-7° up.

Interesting. Unfortunately my cataract surgery a couple of years ago has dramatically affected my vision, for the worse. I need bifocals now but can't wear them to play golf. The astigmatism makes things even worse. I do use your trigger, in my case moving my hands forward a bit to start my swing. Than I look at the path I want my back-swing to start on, and that seems to help. If I think about where the ball is I get in trouble. Does that make sense?

I always hit my stinger with a draw spin. I feel like trying to hit the cut produces too much spin. I like moving the ball back in my stance 1 ball. That let's me cover the ball while getting the draw spin and lowering the trajectory.

Use a towel. Fold it in half then in quarters. Put the ball on the towel, and set up as recommended here for a bunker shot. You’d be surprised at how close the feeling is to sand.

Head and hips counter balance in the coronal plane. Gerry Hogan understood physiology. PGA instructors.. not so much. If we intend to keep our head in front of our toes, the hips will counter balance and there will be no possibility for early extension.(EE) ie standing up /lifting head Thanks to Gerry Hogan for sharing.

By the way it is choking down. A chokes main purpose is to close off or shorten up. That allows for proper distribution. In this case, choking down gives you the correct grip, for the shot you want to hit. Stop bullshitting.
